A man's search for meaning
How can companies best support their people in their transformation ?
Why try to make it plausible, or even interesting, for men and women in the grip of their passions, the experience of transcendental bliss?
How to translate into the language of the world of the day the message of the darkness which defies all formulation? The knowledge brought back from the transcendent depths, immediately rationalized also by the power of the global narrative, does not take long to completely degenerate into an unbearable unreality for those who experience the transformation.
More and more people are questioning the meaning of their existence and their role in this global ecosystem weakened by the excesses of humanity.
Through certain practices of introspection such as meditation, some have access to modified states of consciousness which allow them to take a step back from the globalized illusion, to observe life under a different prism. This moment is commonly defined as the awakening, the shift, the transformation, the metamorphosis. 🐛🦋
The crucial point of this adventure is the return to 'matter'. The resulting disillusions and disappointments are reflected more and more concretely in the world of work by the disengagement of employees through burnout, brownout, resignation or any other form of absenteeism. 😓🥺🥴🥱
While the theme of resilience is widely promoted today, it is interesting to observe that its definition lies in the capacity of the individual to rebuild themselves in a socially acceptable way.
However, for millions of people today, this "socially acceptable" is precisely the trigger for the traumatic event that is at the source of the transformation. 🤯
It seems to me that if we want to address the challenges we face today in a sustainable way, it is crucial to understand their origins. I note that very few companies today consider the philosophical and anthropological nature of the problems they are trying to solve when, in my eyes, it is at their heart that their intrinsic nature lies. 🤔
Einstein already said that we cannot hope to solve a problem with the same state of consciousness in which we created it...
